Mean = add up all the numbers and divide the sum by the number of numbers you added up.

Median = arrange the data from least to greatest and find the number in the middle.

2, 5, 9, 11, 17, 19

Mean:
2 + 5 + 9 + 11 + 17 + 19 = 63
63
÷ 6 = 10.5
The mean of the data is 10.5.

Median:
2, 5, 9, 11, 17, 19
The middle numbers are 9 and 11.
Find the mean between them, which is 10.
The median of the data is 10.
