we are given

[tex] p=v*i [/tex]

Since, we have to solve for i

so, we will isolate i on anyone side

we can divide both sides by v

[tex] \frac{p}{v}= \frac{vi}{v} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{p}{v}= i [/tex]

[tex] i=\frac{p}{v} [/tex]..............Answer
