A pizzeria baked 12 pizza pies in 3 hours. At this rate, how many pizza pies can they bake in 7 hours?

28; 12 divided by 3 is four. That is the rate. Then multiply 7x4=28

first find the hourly rate for how many pies they bake in 1 hour and multiply it by 7

12 pizzas / 3 hours is 4 pizzas per hour 

4 pizzas per hour * 7 hours = 28 pizzas
