How are fossils protected for transport?

Fossils are collected because of their scientific value. They are remains of animals, plants and other organisms from the remote past.
Fossils are very fragile and therefore they must be protected while transported. Cloth, cotton, boxes and aluminium are used to protect fossils being transported.
