When you multiply two integers with different signs, the result is always negative. Just multiply the absolute values and make the answer negative. When you dividetwo integers with the same sign, the result is always positive.

Multiplying:
2 positives = positive
2 x 2 = 4
2 negatives = positive
-2 x -2 = 4

Division:
2 integers with same sign is positive
2 integers with opposite signs is negative
