         [tex]\frac{2-[-1]}{2-5}\\\\=\frac{2+1}{-3}\\\\=\frac{3}{-3}\\\\= -1[/tex]

m = -1

Equation of the line y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y  - [-1] = (-1)*(x - 5)

y + 1 = -x + 5      {-1 is distributed}

y = -x + 5 - 1

y = -x + 4
