Let me = slope

m = (18 - (-2))/(4 - 0)

m = 20/4

m = 5

We now plug slope 5 and one of the given points into the point-slope formula.

y - y_1 = m(x - x_1)

y - 18 = 5(x - 4)

y - 18 = 5x - 20

y = 5x - 20 + 18

y = 5x - 2
