Answer: The required ratio is PT:TR  = 1:2.

To find : PT:TR

.i.e. Ratio of PT to TR.

Here, PT:TR[tex]=\dfrac{PT}{TR}[/tex]

[tex]=\dfrac{4\ cm}{8\ cm}[/tex]

Divide numerator and denominator by 4 , we get

[tex]\dfrac{1}{2}[/tex]

Therefore, the required ratio is PT:TR  = 1:2.
