A diameter is the twice the amount of the radius so in this case, the radius would be 7 inches. To find an area of a circle you use the formula (pi x radius ²). So 3.5 ² (3.5 x 3.5) is 12.25. Then we multiply 12.25 and pi together and then the answer you get is 38.4845100065. If you would round that to the nearest hundredth you would get 38.49! I hope this helped!!
