sett is to 27
27=7+37x-16x^2
multiply -1 both sides
-27=-7-37x+16x^2
add 27 both sides
16x^2-37x+20=0
use quadratic equation
if yo have
ax^2+bx+c=0
x=[tex] \frac{-b+/- \sqrt{b^{2}-4ac} }{2a} [/tex]

1=16
b=-37
c=20

x=[tex] \frac{-(-37)+/- \sqrt{(-37)^{2}-4(16)(20)} }{2(16)} [/tex]
x=[tex] \frac{37+/- \sqrt{1369-1280} }{32} [/tex]
x=[tex] \frac{37+/- \sqrt{89} }{32} [/tex]
aprox
x=0.861438 or 1.45106
