x=13/6

y=3x-5 → -3x +y = -5

3y-x+1 → -x +3y = -1

Multiply the 2nd eq by -3 and add to 1st one and replace it

-3x +y = -5 → -8y =-6

3x -9y = -1     3x -9y = -1  

→ y =3/2=1.5 . Replace this value in any eq -3x + 3/2 = -5  → x =13/6
