first one (2x+1)(x-3) if you notice. that is the factored form of
[tex] {2x}^{2} - 5x - 3[/tex]
no the second fraction already has the (2x+1) , you would multiply the second fraction by (x-3).... dont forget you have to do both numerator and denominator ....
